Exploring the Integrated Care Benefits & Considerations for Becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Many community mental health and recovery services organizations, including Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHC), coordinate care across community health settings, and may have formal partnerships with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). This coordinated, community-based health care expands access to services and addresses inequities in physical health, mental health, and recovery from substance use disorders. As community organizations expand integrated health care services to their populations through partnerships, some may consider requirements and benefits of integrating FQHC designation into their model of care, to further provide services to individuals and families that face challenges to accessing quality healthcare.
Please join us for our webinar, Benefits and Considerations for Becoming a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on Thursday, September 2nd from 3:00-4:00pm ET as we explore the benefits, requirements, and considerations for becoming an FQHC, to better address integrated health care needs within communities.
