Join us for our September 2023 SJLA Learning Series event! This session will dive into expanding access to mental health and substance use treatment services for underrepresented communities through the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model. CCBHC experts Jane King, Gael Thompson, and Donna Chavous will share examples of how they have worked to minimize barriers to service within their communities. This event will also help participants identify ways they can remove barriers to service access within their own community systems.
Learning Objectives:
- Increase knowledge of how the CCBHC model expands access to mental health and substance use treatment services within underrepresented communities.
- Learn how two CCBHCs expanded access to mental health and substance use treatment services in their communities.
- Identify ways in which participants can remove barriers to service access in their local community systems.
