The National Council for Mental Wellbeing (formerly known as the National Council for Behavioral Health) is pleased to announce that Deanna Roepke has joined the organization as vice president and general manager of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) USA.
National Council President and CEO Chuck Ingoglia released the following statement:
“Since the National Council for Mental Wellbeing brought Mental Health First Aid to the U.S. in 2008, MHFA has established itself as one of the nation’s premier evidence-based mental health training and awareness initiatives. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are struggling with increased symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, which speaks to the relevance and importance of MHFA.
“Bringing Deanna Roepke on as vice president and general manager of this important program represents a unique opportunity. Deanna has spent 20 years building and leading online and blended learning teams in health care.
“Deanna has the skills, drive and passion to lead MHFA. I look forward to working with her and taking MHFA to new levels of excellence that offer the best resources for Instructors and the best experience for those who receive MHFA training.”
