This ” Use and Power of Language Faculty and Field Placement Supervisor Guide’ was created as a companion resource to the Use and Power of Language session. The document provides guidance on how to frame the conversation with students/staff along with some discussion points such as the connection between language and action, use of language as a tool vs. passive descriptor and how the setting may drive the language. The guide also provides an outline of how to use the video and discussion as well as provides resources to support the conversation during and after class/assignment.
