Christina Arredondo is the current Medical Director of Behavioral Health and MAT at El Rio Community Health in Tucson, AZ, the largest FQHC in AZ, as well as the Medical Director of MAT at the Pascua Yaqui Tribe where she was previously the Medical Director of the tribe. She received her BA in Psychology from Carleton College, her MD at University of Washington, and Psychiatry Residency and Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale University. Her love of public health has led to her also working towards her MPH in Epidemiology from Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Her interests lie in public health capacity building, Latinx and Native health, data management, addiction services, quality management, and program development. Outside her work responsibilities, Dr. Arredondo spends her time with her 3 young daughters, and they enjoy traveling and staycations, music and home dance parties, and weekly movie nights.
